Normal people
A playful guide to the world of “normal” people
The world of neurotypical people—that is, the world of the majority population—is often strange and incomprehensible to autistic people. That’s why Clara Törnvall, herself autistic, has joined forces with other autistic individuals to write a fun and accessible explanation of the majority neurotypical world, intended to help people with autism navigate this complicated “galaxy.” The book is aimed at readers aged fifteen and over, but the explanations and advice on why neurotypicals lie, how to maintain a conversation without offending anyone, or how to handle changes in one's life, can also benefit adult autistic men and women. In fact, neurotypicals too will better understand the autistic way of thinking thanks to this book.
