Operative. The jungle will hide the bodies

Operative David Prokop is back in action. This time, in the Central African Republic. In the final instalment of the Operative trilogy, David Prokop has been a reserve officer for some time. Life in the civilian world isn't very fulfilling for him, so when an unknown man rings his doorbell, referencing old army contacts and offering him an interesting job in the Central African Republic, David discovers he still craves action and risky missions. Together with his guide Andreas, a Czech man with French citizenship, they fly to Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic, where they pose as businessmen interested in importing mineral resources to the Czech Republic. Their main task, however, is to acquire film footage shot by Russian humanitarian workers. It captures how Russian mercenary groups are gradually establishing themselves in the Central African Republic, insidiously taking over political influence in this otherwise Francophone country. The situations become increasingly dramatic, with our heroes literally fighting for their lives. Through a story based on real events, the reader gets not only plenty of action set in a distant, exotic country but also a clear outline of the complex power games currently being played out in the countries of Central Africa. As in the previous two instalments, the author draws directly from his personal experiences. The recording was made based on the book 'Operativec.
