The Orion Combination Grinding Stone with non-slip silicone backing is an essential tool for anyone who wants to keep their knives and tools in perfect condition. The Orion sharpening stone is made of corundum and offers two grits - the light blue part marked 240 is for removing coarse chips from a damaged blade, while the yellow part marked 1200 is for fine, final sharpening and polishing of the blade. Orion sharpening stone is suitable for sharpening kitchen knives for general household use, including meat, vegetable, fish knives, scissors and other tools. Without using a clamp, it is recommended to grind the blade at an angle of 15-20°. The stone should be soaked in water for 10 minutes before use and continuously moistened during grinding, as it absorbs water quickly. When you have finished grinding, allow the stone to dry freely and store it in a dry place. Do not use chemicals for cleaning.
