Philips Gamepix 900
Philips Gamepix 900
The Philips Gamepix 900 gaming projector displays images in native 4K UHD resolution, which renders even the finest details of game worlds. Image processing is handled by DLP technology from Texas Instruments, which reproduces vibrant colours and deep contrast. For smooth motion in fast-paced games, it combines a refresh rate of up to 240Hz with an input lag of just 6ms. The LED light source with a brightness of 1000 ANSI lumens is ideal for projection in darkened spaces, where it creates an image with a screen size of up to 300". Its compact design, weighing only 2kg, simplifies transport and installation.

Image and gaming performance of the projector
The projector works with a native resolution of 3840×2160 4K UHD and a 16:9 aspect ratio. HDR10 support improves contrast and provides a wider colour spectrum. For gamers, the key features are a refresh rate of up to 240Hz (at 1080p) and an input lag of just 6ms, ensuring instant responses in fast-paced games. The image retains detail when projected with a screen size of up to 120".
Gaming presets and image settings
To optimise the visual experience, it offers three gaming presets: Action Gaming, Adventure Gaming and Sports Gaming. Each mode adjusts the image settings to the specific requirements of the game genre. Focus the image using the manual controls on the device's body and adjust its geometry using the keystone correction feature. The digital zoom adjusts the projection size, so you can easily adapt the final image size to the projection surface while keeping the device in a fixed position.
Light source and projector design
It uses an LED system as its light source, with a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 30000 hours, eliminating the need for lamp replacement. This source ensures colour stability and a quick start-up to full power immediately after switching on. The projector is characterised by its compact dimensions of 11.9×21.9×21.9cm and a weight of 2kg. Its design makes it easy to carry and place in rooms with limited space.
Power cable and remote control
It offers an HDMI input for connecting game consoles, computers or other devices. Play files from external drives using the USB 2.0 port. The integrated 5W speaker with a sound box provides basic audio, ensuring fully self-sufficient sound reproduction directly from the device itself. For private listening or connection to an audio system, it offers a 3.5mm headphone output.

Native resolution vs. maximum resolution
Native resolution determines the actual number of physical pixels on the projector's imaging chip and defines the real sharpness of the image, while maximum resolution only indicates the highest signal the projector can receive and convert (downscale) to its native resolution. For a high-quality image, it is always crucial to look at the native resolution.Specifications
