Recipe for a healthy baby

Expert advice, delivered with respect for children's health and understanding for all parents

“As a paediatrician and a mother of two young boys, I know all too well what it's like to worry about a sick child—and how important it is to have reliable information at your fingertips. I created this guide to offer parents support during uncertain times, answers to common questions, and clear instructions on what to do when problems arise.

Here, you'll find an overview of the most common illnesses and ailments, their symptoms, and what you can manage at home—as well as when it's best to see a doctor and what to expect. I also cover injuries, first aid principles, prevention, child safety, and practical tips for keeping your home first-aid kit ready for anything.

All the advice is based on verified expert knowledge, but I present it in a human, simple way, with an understanding of the day-to-day realities of life with children.

I also connect with parents on Instagram @lecimdeti, where I share a wealth of professional advice as well as experiences from my own life as a mum and a doctor.”
