SELA Varios Blue Bundle
SELA Varios Blue Bundle
Cajons from the Varios series by the German brand SELA are made from layered birchwood, feature the SELA Snare system, and are designed specifically for beginner percussionists. Their high-quality craftsmanship provides you with very good sound production, and the construction with rounded corners ensures a comfortable playing experience. The SELA Varios Brown Bundle cajon set also includes a practical nylon transport case in the form of a backpack, and a printed booklet with a CD and DVD for learning to play the cajon. Thanks to the SELA Snare system, you will find a removable snare in the upper part of the playing surface, which evokes the sound of a snare drum when used. When playing Varios cajons, you can achieve an almost infinite range of sound variations. You can play both a very wide spectrum of bass frequencies and sharp highs. Passionate players of the SELA Varios cajon may experience wear on the playing surface over time. In this case, it is not necessary to purchase a whole new instrument, but simply to replace the surface.

Construction of SELA Cajons
The cajon, translated from Spanish as 'box' or 'chest', is a percussion instrument that can imitate the sound of both a bass drum and a snare drum. It is a wooden box with a sound hole and tunable strings stretched inside. The cajon is played with the hands, and the resulting sound depends not only on the tuning of the strings, but also on the place and force of the strike, and whether you use your palm, fingertips, or nails. This allows it to mimic a variety of percussion instruments, which is why it is so popular.
