A helper for every household
The SENCOR SWS 8000 weather station is the ideal choice for those who want to keep track of the weather and maintain a healthy environment in the home. The clear 5.7"" colour LCD display shows current information on indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. It also displays the weather forecast for 12 to 24 hours - using easy-to-understand icons (sunny, cloudy, rain, thunderstorm or snow). The measurement is complemented by a pressure graph, a comfort indicator and an alert for extreme measurement values. The station can warn more sensitive people of possible health problems caused by the change in weather.

Ice forecast and warning
Together with the station you will receive a wireless sensor with a range of up to 30 metres. Maximum and minimum values can be stored for an overview of the weather trend, as well as an ice warning function. The display shows the current time, date, moon phase and day of the week. A radio-controlled clock ensures accuracy, which can also be set manually if necessary. The station can be built or mounted on the wall. Power is provided by a mains adapter (included). You will also receive 1 backup battery for the main unit. The outdoor sensor requires two AA (1.5V) pencil batteries, which are not included - non-rechargeable lithium batteries are ideal.
3 levels of display brightness
High low and off, 12~24 hour forecast based on pressure and air temperature change. Weather forecasts (sunny, slightly cloudy, overcast, rain, storm, snowfall) and indoor temperature and humidity measurement with comfort indicator. Measure outdoor temperature and humidity, bar graph to show the air pressure history (-1, -3, -6, -12, -18, -24 hours) and barometric pressure in relative or absolute values (hPa, inHg, mmHg).
Weather index for dew point and temperature index
Alert settings for indoor/outdoor temperature and humidity (low/high). Flashing high/low alert indicator, from time, calendar, days of the week and moon phase display. Ice warning and alarm function. Records max. /min. values in memory, hourly record for the past 24 hours and radio controlled clock and date via DCF77 signal, with daylight saving time (DST) update (manual setting). Day of the week in 7 languages (EN, DE, FR, ES, IT, NL, RU). Temperature display optionally in °C/°F 1 TH sensor included. Support for up to 8 TH sensors (SWS TH8700-8800-7300), transmission distance between main unit and sensor - up to 30 m (in open area).
