Seventh Wave
Impenetrable primeval forests on the Moon? Nonsense! Or is it?
Increased gravity and robot technology—this is the principle of the seventh technological wave, set to turn the lives of the inhabitants in all seven lunar habitats upside down. It won't miss the antiques dealer Kuba Nedomý and the cyborg Dědek Čuchák. But it wouldn't be them if they didn't ask some nosy questions. Who is behind the project? And what are their goals?
Sometimes curiosity doesn't pay… and then it becomes a matter of life and death. Everything on the Moon is in motion, a new order is being established, and an unseen emperor, surrounded by noble dignitaries, is taking power. When things like this happen, heads roll. Kuba and Dědek will have to try very hard to keep theirs on their necks.
The Seventh Wave promises the creation of paradise, but hell is breaking loose in its undercurrent. Never before has Arkádie been so fatally threatened, and yet no one suspects a thing. At least, no one except Kuba and Dědek Čuchák, who know that a catastrophe is approaching. But will they have enough strength to avert it?
A new action-packed sci-fi from the popular Arkádie series, which loosely follows the characters and setting of the books Rock mého života, Hvězda mého života, Ultimus, Hu! Povídky Dědka Čucháka, Ostrov nesmrtelných, and Zlatý pomeranč.

Ondřej Neff
Born in Prague in 1945. He wrote his first sci-fi story at the age of ten and has been dedicated to the genre his entire life. He prefers classic adventure hard sci-fi (the Arkádie, Milénium, Pán Modrého meče series), which also includes the novel The Seventh Wave, part of the Arkádie cycle. His dystopia, Tma, also caught the attention of mainstream readers. He has published shorter texts in numerous short story collections (Vejce naruby, Zepelín na Měsíci, Bůh s. r. o., etc.). He is a lifelong fan of Jules Verne, having retold ten of his novels for a new generation of readers. To these, he added his own steampunk trilogy, Tajemství pěti světadílů. Ondřej Neff lives near Prague. Under the influence of his wife, actress Ljuba Krbová, he has swapped karate for Chinese tai chi and rides an electric bike instead of a motorbike. He enjoys photography, walking his dogs in the forest, and sticking his nose into politics on his web-magazine, Neviditelný pes. He is preparing a new novel for the Arkádie cycle, and what comes next remains to be seen.
