Something real

An addictive story about a famous rocker who needs to improve his reputation a little, and the girl whose job it is to pretend to be his girlfriend.

Meet Oakley Ford – a young celebrity, famous musician, son of famous actors, singer with millions of fans... and a perpetual troublemaker. At first glance, he has everything anyone could wish for, but his private life is falling apart, his music career is going downhill, and the tabloids can't keep up with all his escapades. Oakley's managers offer a seemingly simple solution: Oakley must prove to the world that he has finally grown up. And his new – and fake – girlfriend is supposed to help him with that.

Enter Vaughn Bennett – a devoted sister, part-time waitress, the absolute embodiment of 'normal'. Under any other circumstances, she wouldn't have accepted the offer, but her family desperately needs the money, so Vaughn has no choice. And for the money Oakley's team is offering, she's willing to endure wild Hollywood parties and paparazzi at every turn. So what if she thinks Oakley is just a superficial, self-centred idiot? They're not going to fall in love in real life... are they?
