Unlocking the door with your fingerprint is not only fast and convenient, but also extremely secure. With just one touch, the door opens instantly - no searching for keys or entering a code. In addition, the fingerprint is unique and cannot be copied, significantly reducing the risk of unauthorised access. No more worrying about forgotten codes or lost keys, your finger is always with you. Plus, managing access is easy - you can add or remove fingerprints as needed and provide individual permissions for family members, employees or guests. This method of unlocking is not only practical, but also hygienic, because it eliminates the need for physical contact with the keyboard.

There are situations where PIN access has significant advantages. PINs act as practical "virtual keys". that can easily be shared with people who only visit your premises occasionally. They are ideal, for example, for temporary employees, visitors or guests on short-term rentals, for whom they provide a safe and convenient way to unlock. While fingerprint registration requires physical presence at the door, PINs can be generated remotely via an app and shared securely. Tedee Keypad PRO therefore combines both methods in one device and offers a flexible solution for both occasional visitors and regular users.
Maximum safety without compromise
Tedee Keypad PRO does not show accurate fingerprint scans. Instead, fingerprints are tokenized during registration, i.e. converted into an irreversible digital form that cannot be decrypted or shared. This keeps your biometric data safe even in the event of a breach. In addition, each fingerprint must be authorised directly on a specific keyboard, adding an extra layer of protection. This system complies with the GDPR, which classifies biometric data as sensitive personal data. Tedee Keypad PRO meets strict security requirements by storing only secure tokens, not fingerprints themselves. Security is also ensured when using PIN codes. The keypad doesn't store any number combinations - it only communicates with a smart lock that uses secure cloud and encrypted communication with a high level of protection.
Easy to install and weatherproof
The Tedee Keypad PRO is designed to be as easy to use as possible. Just fix it near the door - using double-sided tape or screws. Once attached, the keypad pairs with the Tedee PRO or Tedee GO smart lock via Bluetooth and is set up in the Tedee mobile app. Thanks to its weather resistance, the Tedee Keypad PRO is also suitable for outdoor use. The design is engineered to withstand rain, moisture and extreme temperatures so you can rely on it in any weather (IP65 rating). Power is provided by 4 replaceable AAA batteries that last up to a year of operation and notify you in time when a replacement is needed. For added reliability, TedeeKeypad PRO also supports wired power. Using the included adapter, the keyboard can be connected to the DC input for permanent power. You can install batteries as a backup power source to ensure uninterrupted operation during a power outage.

Tedee Keypad PRO combines top design with precision craftsmanship. It is equipped with a LED diode and buzzer, which signal various events - for example, when the PIN code is entered correctly, a green light accompanied by a short beep will light up. It is available in two elegant matt colours - black and white. Thanks to its smooth geometric shape, minimalist buttons and discreet details, it blends harmoniously with the Tedee smart lock. Ready for the future with NFC
The keyboard has an integrated NFC reader chip, so it will be possible to activate it via a free firmware update in the future. Once launched, the feature will enable digital keys in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, allowing authorised users to unlock the smart lock by simply holding their phone or smartwatch up to the keypad. Tedee is working hard on this solution and is preparing its launch.
