The chopper is excellent for onions, root vegetables, tomatoes, herbs, apples, pears, nuts or biscuits, and you can also use it to quickly and easily prepare fruit and vegetable salads, pesto, etc. With the string chopper, you can easily achieve the desired coarseness of chopping – the fewer pulls, the coarser the food will be chopped; the more pulls, the finer the result. For a quick coarse chop, 5 pulls of the string handle are usually enough; for a fine chop, 10 pulls are sufficient.
