That's who I am now.

In this follow-up to the New York Times bestseller, The Way I Used to Be, Eden and Josh decide to give their relationship another chance and continue their efforts to overcome a painful trauma.

Eden and Josh never had a chance to build a healthy relationship. When they dated in high school, both were struggling with issues that stood in the way of their deep feelings for each other. While Eden carried the burden of a devastating sexual assault that Josh knew nothing about, Josh was fighting his own private battle, dealing with the fact that he had an alcoholic father.

Several months after Eden and two other girls publicly accuse their rapist, Eden starts university and her case begins to go through the courts. When she and Josh get back together, it seems like they might finally be in the right place at the right time to make it work. But is their love strong enough to withstand the demands and chaos of university life and the crushing reality of a trial that will decide whether Eden gets the justice she deserves?
