The end of the world according to Carl
THIS IS GOING TO HURT!
The World Tomb, the most-watched reality show in the galaxy, has simple rules. Survive eighteen floors full of deadly traps and perverted monsters, and you might get the ruins of your planet back. Carl, who entered the game wearing only a leather jacket and boxer shorts, and his talking cat Princess Donut have barely scraped through the first three floors.
Not getting run over by a goblin murder-dozer, untangling a knot of swine, and saving the residents of a retirement home was the easy part. Now, Carl and Princess Donut are among the most popular crawlers, and the sadistic artificial intelligence with a fetish for bare feet is about to put them through a meat grinder called the Outer City.
The once-vibrant metropolis may be in ruins, but its streets are far from empty. Get ready for mutated clowns, undead giraffes, mould beasts, and ancient curses. And don’t forget to beat, murder, and kill! With or without trousers, the important thing is to do it in style!
