Under a different name, but rich and powerful, Presley lives on the Moon until his fate intertwines with the lives of antiquarians Kuba Nedomý and Kazik Prus, better known as the cyborg Gramps Sniffer. When a swarm of robotic ninjas bursts onto the scene, all hell breaks loose.
In Arcadia, which has become a refuge for enterprising, free-thinking, and tolerant people from the world's five continents, there will always be villains. They stand a chance of achieving their goals... unless, of course, they come up against Kuba and Gramps Sniffer.
Ondřej Neff
Born in Prague in 1945. He wrote his first sci-fi story at the age of ten and has been dedicated to the genre his whole life. He prefers classic adventure hard sci-fi (the Arcadia series, Millennium, Lord of the Blue Sword), which also includes his new book The Golden Orange, part of the Arcadian cycle. His dystopia, Tma (Darkness), also garnered attention from mainstream readers. He has published shorter texts in a number of short story collections (Vejce naruby, Zepelín na Měsíci, Bůh s. r. o., etc.). He is a lifelong fan of Jules Verne and has retold ten of his novels for a new generation of readers. To these, he added his own steampunk trilogy, The Secret of the Five Continents. Ondřej Neff lives near Prague. Influenced by his wife, actress Ljuba Krbová, he has swapped karate for Chinese tai chi and rides an electric bike instead of a motorbike. He enjoys photography, walking his dogs in the forest, and sticking his nose into politics on his web magazine, The Invisible Dog. For the Arcadia cycle, he is preparing a revised version of the novel Rock of My Life, and what comes next remains to be seen.
