TP-Link Deco BE65 Pro takes home connectivity to the next level with the revolutionary Wi-Fi 7 standard. This tri-band Mesh WiFi 7 system reaches a combined theoretical speed of up to 9335Mb/s, split between the 6GHz (5765Mb/s), 5GHz (2882Mb/s) and 2.4GHz (688Mb/s) bands. Thanks to the implementation of key technologies such as Multi-Link Operation (MLO) for simultaneous data transmission and 320MHz channels in the 6GHz band, it ensures excellent throughput and minimal latency. Wi-Fi connectivity and speed
The system uses the Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) standard for high performance. This tri-band system operates in the 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz frequency bands. It reaches speeds of 688Mb/s on the 2.4GHz band, 2882Mb/s on the 5GHz band and up to 5765Mb/s on the 6GHz band. This results in a combined transmission speed of up to 9335Mb/s. The system supports technologies like 2×2 MU-MIMO and OFDMA, which enable efficient communication with multiple devices simultaneously. With 320MHz channels and Multi-Link Operation (MLO) technology, it achieves higher throughput, reduced latency and increased connection reliability.
Mesh and coverage
The Deco BE65 Pro system creates a whole-home Wi-Fi network. Using TP-Link Mesh and AI-Driven Mesh technologies, it covers an area of up to 538m² (in a 2-pack configuration) and eliminates weak signal spots. The system supports seamless AI roaming, which automatically connects devices to the strongest unit without interrupting the connection as you move around your home. It can handle up to 200 devices at once, making it ideal for homes with a large number of smart appliances and personal electronics.
WiFi system security
Network security is provided by the WPA3-Personal encryption protocol. The system integrates an SPI Firewall and the TP-Link HomeShield suite of tools, which offers network protection. Features include real-time IoT device protection, malicious site blocking, DDoS attack prevention and a home network scanner. To isolate and secure specific devices, you can create three separate guest networks, one for each band. The system also supports VPN server and client functionality with OpenVPN, PPTP and L2TP/IPSec protocols.
WiFi system connectivity options
Each unit is equipped for high-speed wired connections. It includes two 5Gb/s and one 2.5Gb/s WAN/LAN ports, which enable multi-gigabit connections to the internet and to devices like games consoles or smart TVs. There is also a USB 2.0 port for network functions such as FTP or Media Server.
