The TP-Link Tapo C675D 4K Dual-Lens Solar Kit IP camera combines two lenses to monitor both wide surroundings and fine details in 3840 × 2160px resolution. The wide-angle lens offers a 170° field of view and is complemented by a rotating lens with a 67° viewing angle for tracking specific objects. Starlight colour night vision records a clear image up to 16m away, even in low light. Integrated algorithms detect people, vehicles, and pets, which eliminates false alarms. Power is provided by a rechargeable battery connected to a solar panel for maintenance-free outdoor operation.

The device uses two separate lenses with a 1/2.7" Starlight CMOS sensor, which capture the scene in 3840 × 2160px resolution at a frame rate of 15fps. The fixed lens with a focal length of 2.53mm and an aperture of F1.6 covers a field of view of 170° screen sizely, 141° horizontally and 75° vertically. The second rotating lens with a 6mm focal length and F1.6 aperture offers a narrower 67° viewing angle screen sizely, 57° horizontally and 31° vertically. H.264 video compression effectively reduces data and storage capacity requirements while maintaining high sharpness. The digital zoom offers up to 18× magnification for both lenses.

For monitoring in the dark, a combined illuminator system is used, which includes four white LEDs and four IR LEDs with a wavelength of 850nm. In Starlight mode with white light, it provides a colour image with high detail up to a distance of 16m. When IR night vision is activated,it renders the scenery in a black and white spectrum up to 15m for the fixed lens and over 16m for the rotating lens. Users can choose between a full-colour display and a more economical black and white mode according to their current needs.

Integrated PIR sensors are complemented by advanced AI detection that identifies motion, people, vehicles, and animals directly on the device. A reactive mechanism is used for motion tracking (Auto tracking) with the rotating lens, which immediately focuses on a moving object. Users can define activity zones to eliminate false alarms in areas with normal traffic. When the area is breached, a light alarm with blue and red LEDs is activated along with a siren.

The device records audio using a built-in microphone and reproduces it through an integrated speaker. The system supports two-way communication with active ambient noise cancellation for clear voice transmission. The loud siren serves as an effective warning element that responds to detected events. The sound pressure is 87.1dBA when measured from ten centimetres, which corresponds to a high intensity for deterrence.

Recordings can be stored on a MicroSD card up to 512GB or in the Tapo Care cloud. The motorised rotation design offers a mechanical pan range of 339° and a tilt of 97° for wide coverage. The IP65-rated body is protectedfrom rain and dust in a temperature range from -20°C to 45°C. Power is provided by a rechargeable battery, which is supplemented by a 4.5W solar panel for continuous, maintenance-free operation.

The camera connects to the network via dual-band WiFi operating on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies. The Tapo mobile app, available for Android and iOS operating systems, is used to manage and monitor the live stream. The device is compatible with Samsung SmartThings platforms and facilitates integration with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants. Wired connection via Ethernet and RTSP and ONVIF protocols are not supported.
