The TP-Link VIGI C250 IP camera is a modern dome security solution designed for both indoor and outdoor use. This device offers a high resolution of 2880 × 1620 px with a 5Mpx sensor, a fixed 4mm lens, and a wide 90° viewing angle, providing precise coverage of the monitored area. The camera features advanced hybrid night vision with a range of up to 30m, combining infrared LED light with a white LED spotlight for a full-colour image even in complete darkness. Security features include intelligent motion detection, area intrusion, and line crossing with instant notifications sent to your mobile phone. Power is supplied via a standard mains connection or through PoE technology over an Ethernet cable.

First-Class Image Recording
At the heart of this device is a sensitive 1/2.7” Progressive Scan CMOS sensor, which captures video at a resolution of 2880 × 1620 px at a frame rate of up to 30 fps. The fixed lens with a 4mm focal length and F1.6 aperture provides a 90° horizontal viewing angle, a 48° vertical angle, and a 107° screen size view. Modern video compression using H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 codecs significantly reduces storage capacity requirements and network bandwidth load while maintaining the high quality and sharpness of the final image.
Hybrid Night Vision
The camera uses an advanced night illumination system that combines one infrared LED and one white LED spotlight with a range of up to 30m. The user can choose between the classic black-and-white mode and the Full-Colour display, which operates continuously 24 hours a day. Thanks to the highly sensitive sensor and supplementary lights, the device can record clear colour details even in complete darkness, making it easier to identify objects.
Advanced AI Detection and Active Defence
The integrated processor with support for artificial intelligence algorithms allows for the precise differentiation of people and vehicles from other moving objects in the frame. The system allows you to set specific rules, such as area intrusion, line crossing, zone entry or exit, loitering detection, and the registration of abandoned or removed objects. In the event of an incident, the camera triggers an active defence in the form of a sound siren and flashing light, while immediately sending a push notification to the user's mobile phone.
Wide-Area Audio Recording
This security feature includes an integrated microphone that reliably captures all sound events within a radius of up to 5 metres from the device. This provides the user not only with a visual overview of the monitored area but also with an important audio track, which provides more complete information about what is happening on the scene. The audio recording is compressed using advanced standards with an ambient noise filtering function.
Flexible Storage for Your Data
You can save camera recordings in several different ways according to your preferences and security requirements. The camera offers a built-in MicroSD card slot with support for up to 512GB for storing data locally on the device itself. The camera also supports saving to a network video recorder (NVR), sending data to an FTP server, or using cloud storage, which ensures secure backup under any circumstances.
Connectivity and App
A single RJ-45 Ethernet port is used for network connection, which also supports PoE for easy installation without the need to run a separate power cable. The device is managed via the TP-Link VIGI app for Android and iOS, a web interface, or the VIGI Security Manager software for Windows. Thanks to ONVIF protocol support, seamless compatibility with systems from other manufacturers is ensured.
