The TP-Link VIGI C340 (6mm) IP camera in a durable outdoor bullet design delivers reliable security with a high 4Mpx resolution of 2560×1440px, a fixed 6mm lens, and hybrid night vision with a range of up to 30m. This device combines advanced AI person and vehicle detection with active protection in the form of an audible alarm and a flashing white light. Power is supplied either via a standard mains connection or conveniently over Ethernet using PoE technology, while the IP67-certified construction withstands harsh outdoor weather conditions at temperatures from -30°C to 60°C.

Detailed high-resolution image
The 1/3” Progressive Scan CMOS sensor provides a clear image with a resolution of 2560×1440px at up to 30 frames per second. The fixed lens, with a 6mm focal length and F1.6 aperture, offers a horizontal field of view of 50.6° and a vertical angle of 27.8°. To manage data flow effectively, the camera uses advanced H.265+ encoding, which significantly reduces storage space and bandwidth requirements while maintaining high recording quality.
Hybrid night vision
Property protection continues uninterrupted after dark thanks to the hybrid night illumination system with a range of up to 30m. The device combines two infrared LEDs and two white LEDs, which enables both classic black and white and full-colour night recording. The integrated system dynamically adjusts the intensity of the infrared illumination, preventing overexposure and unwanted glare from nearby objects.
Intelligent detection and active defence
Integrated AI algorithms can accurately distinguish people and vehicles from other moving objects, which reduces false alarms. Smart features include tampering detection, line-crossing, intrusion detection, area exiting, and audio anomaly detection. In the event of an incident, the camera triggers the built-in siren and starts flashing a white light to deter unexpected visitors.
Two-way audio for immediate response
A built-in microphone with a range of up to 5m and an integrated speaker enable full-featured, real-time audio transmission. Users can communicate with people in front of the camera directly via the mobile app. This system ensures clear two-way audio transmission with ambient noise filtering, making it easy to handle situations remotely. The built-in microphone picks up sounds within a 5m radius, increasing the level of control over the monitored area.
Flexible recording storage options
Users have several independent ways to save captured video recordings according to their own preferences. The camera has a built-in MicroSD card slot that supports capacities of up to 512GB for local storage. Recordings can be simultaneously sent to a network video recorder (NVR), saved to an FTP server, or you can use cloud storage.
Connectivity and application
A stable network connection is provided by a single 10/100Mbps RJ-45 port, which also supports PoE power according to the 802.3af/at standard. Thanks to full ONVIF protocol support, the device is compatible with third-party recorders and software. Management and live video monitoring is made easy by the VIGI app for Android and iOS mobile platforms, or the client software for Windows.
