The TP-Link VIGI C440 IP camera delivers detailed surveillance with a high resolution of 2560 × 1440px and full-colour video even in complete darkness. This turret-style device uses a sensitive 1/3" Progressive Scan CMOS sensor with a fixed 2.8mm lens and an F1.6 aperture, providing a wide 102° horizontal field of view. Integrated LED spotlights ensure colour night vision with a range of up to 30m. The camera supports motion detection, area intrusion, line crossing, and camera tampering. It can be powered via PoE (802.3af/at) technology or a 12V DC adaptor. It also features a built-in microphone, speaker, and a microSD card slot with a capacity of up to 256GB. To efficiently manage data flow, the TP-Link VIGI C440 IP camera uses modern H.265+, H.265, H.264+, and H.264 compression formats. Advanced video encoding significantly reduces network load and saves space on the storage medium without degrading the final image quality.

Full-colour night vision and smart detection
This device uses 24h Full-Colour technology, which provides a colour image even in zero ambient light. The combination of a sensitive sensor and integrated LED spotlights ensures a range of up to 30m. For night-time operation, the camera is also equipped with an IR Cut filter, which ensures reliable imaging even in poor light conditions. The integrated Smart Detection functions continuously analyse the captured scene and recognise events in the monitored area. The system supports motion detection, trespassing in a defined area, line crossing, and camera tampering detection. When an event is detected, it can send a notification via ONVIF or HTTPS.
Two-way audio and data storage
The camera body is equipped with a built-in microphone and speaker for audio recording and playback. The camera supports both audio input and output, allowing audio to be transmitted along with the video footage. The camera body has a built-in slot for microSD memory cards with support for up to 256GB. The camera allows recordings to be saved directly to the memory card, providing local storage for secure video footage.
Connectivity
A single 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 Ethernet port provides network connectivity. Management and remote monitoring are enabled by the VIGI app, web interface, VIGI VMS, VIGI PC Client and other supported client tools. Power is supplied via PoE technology according to the 802.3af/at standard or a 12V DC adaptor.
