High-speed transmission and backup radio band
The device operates with a total throughput of up to 5.4Gbps, showing a value of 2.7Gbps in duplex mode. The transmission speed at 60GHz is 675MB/s. The hardware includes a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 processor with a frequency of 1.4GHz and 1GB of DDR3L RAM. This hardware processes network traffic without delay, even at full load. The wireless part uses 16QAM, BPSK, and QPSK modulation for stable signal encoding at different noise levels. For adverse weather conditions, the device has an integrated backup radio section in the 5GHz band. This backup frequency works with dual polarisation and an integrated antenna gain of 26dBi for a stable connection over long distances. The system automatically switches to the backup channel when the main 60GHz signal is attenuated, with a transmission speed of 125.0MB/s at 5GHz. The backup radio supports channel widths of 20, 40, and 80MHz. It uses a wide range of modulations from BPSK to 256QAM.
Precise aiming and weather resistance
The package includes a mounting kit for precise tilt and azimuth adjustment. The galvanised steel and UV-stabilised polycarbonate construction withstands strong winds of up to 200km/h with a load of 422N. The bracket supports installation on poles with an outer diameter of 40 to 80mm. The total weight of the device, including the mounting bracket, is 13kg; the unit itself without the mount weighs 8.6kg. Precise mechanical alignment simplifies the aiming of the narrow beam with an azimuth and elevation of 1.4°. The construction meets the requirements of IP66 and IPX6 certification, declaring resistance to powerful water jets and dust. The device operates in a wide temperature range from -40 to 55°C. The operating humidity of the surrounding environment can range from 5 to 95% without condensation. The UV-stabilised materials prevent degradation of the plastic parts due to sunlight in outdoor locations.
Management, interface and connectivity
Administrators configure the device through the centralised UISP system, which works in a web browser and in mobile apps for iOS and Android. The device encrypts wireless transmission using the WPA2-PSK (AES) standard. Diagnostic tools also include a speed test, ping watchdog, NTP client, and traceroute. Connectivity includes one gigabit RJ45 port and one 1/10Gb/s SFP+ optical port. The optical interface provides a direct connection to an optical network without the need for additional converters. The device uses passive PoE power, which supports voltages in the range of 44 to 54V DC, or 22 to 27V DC. Maximum power consumption reaches 24W. A passive gigabit PoE adapter with parameters of 48V DC, 0.65A is included in the package.
