Veterinarian again in one round

The Second World War is over and James slowly returns to Darrowby to his family, his friends, his daily routine. His veterinary practice is still the same - not easy, strenuous, but at the same time indispensable and full of love for all living things and four-legged. In the charming Yorkshire countryside, where green plains and winding roads meet with passes and valleys, we meet the characters again, in addition to their animal companions, that we love so much - with Herriot's companion Siegfried Farnon, his younger brother Tristan, James' wife, Helen, a spirited son, Jimmy, and soon a daughter, Rosie.

James Herriot's stories have already become popular with readers all over the world in his books It Shouldn't Happen to a Zookeeper, When a Zookeeper Gets Married and The Zookeeper Between Heaven and Earth. Now comes another delightful volume of reminiscences full of the author's distinctive humour, insight and wisdom. Immerse yourself in the heart-warming stories of life as a zookeeper in Yorkshire, England. The British series All Creatures Great and Small, based on his works, has had five series so far and can be seen on Czech television.

Herriot's books have sold over eighty million copies worldwide.
