Victim of compassion

Tales from life amidst the beautiful Sumava countryside from times long past, when backwoods patriots cultivated beautiful Czech and wrote down their daily experiences in the evenings. But Jack Flor did not just chronicle his life, he wrote stories that were sometimes nostalgic, poetic, sometimes suspenseful, but not lacking in humour. These stories are not only for people familiar with forests and forestry work, but they will also delight the reader who is not familiar with forests. Stop for a moment, sit back and immerse yourself in the world of yesteryear. And maybe you can smell the forest, the damp moss and the wilderness as you read. The stories are accompanied by equally charming illustrations.
