Wake up

In this seventh replacement miniseries, we bring you three compelling and even terrifying short stories by renowned 20th century foreign authors.

´Awakening by G. A. Wells (The Ghoul and the Corpse)´

A lone prospector discovers the perfectly preserved body of a prehistoric man in an Arctic glacier. When he tries to keep it, he breaks the boundary between death and life and unleashes a terrifying fight for survival. The story questions human knowledge and the very nature of time, evolution and death.

´A Place of Madness by Merlin Moore Taylor´

The story follows a doctor, Blalock, who wants to prove that solitary confinement is not as cruel as the prisoner Ellis claims and voluntarily allows himself to be locked in a dark cell. But the isolation and silence gradually erode his mind and body, driving him to the brink of madness, where he is forced to face his own conscience. After coming back to his senses, he admits who the real culprit of the crime is.

ˇStrach by David R. Solomon's'

The story follows a man whose life is dominated by a deep, irrational fear of snakes. When his daughter finds herself in danger, he is forced to face his greatest nightmare and act in spite of his own terror.
