Wild Huntress

There can be only one winner of the hunt.

Every fifth year, as autumn turns to winter, two kings hold a hunt. It takes place in an ancient forest full of magic, and the Otherking himself will grant a wish to whoever wins. However, this hunt is not called the Wild Hunt for nothing—terrible rumours surround it, and not every hunter returns. What's more, not just anyone gets an invitation.

This, however, does not deter Gwydion, the overlooked descendant of a powerful royal family, who wants to prevent his cruel brother from ascending to the throne at all costs. He enlists the help of a young huntress named Branwen, who, thanks to her magical eye, can see what remains hidden to others, yet is unable to help her ailing mother. And then there is Pryderi, the long-lost king's son, who fell into a monster's clutches as an infant and fears that something monstrous has remained within him forever. If these three join forces (and keep Branwen's man-eating cat in check), they might just succeed in winning. But nothing is certain, because all is fair in love and hunting.
