Investigator Marek Wolf returns to Montreal
When police investigator Marek Wolf left Canada a year and a half ago to return to Slovakia, he was convinced that this chapter of his life was closed for good. But then an unknown killer sends him a crime scene photo with a message: "Want to know the truth about your father? You have to come back to Montreal." The city's underworld was once ruled by mafioso Anthony Rizzo. Those days are long gone, Rizzo is behind bars, and his henchmen have scattered. Years later, old sins are coming to light, and the list of victims on the killer's list is growing. At first glance, the murders seem unrelated, but Marek discovers that all the victims worked for the old mafioso. What does his father have to do with it all, and what is the truth that only the killer knows about him? Wolf realises he is rushing into a trap, but he can't help himself. He won't stop until he uncovers the truth. A truth that might just cost him his life.

Reviews of the book:
In my opinion, Kozmon is one of the few Slovak authors who could compete with international ones. I truly savoured reading The Wolf. The author paid great attention to detail, the character of Marek Wolf is very likeable, and although the book isn't packed with suspense and brutality on every page, you won't want to put it down. I highly recommend it and I'm already looking forward to the sequel.
