DLP imaging technology
The XGIMI MIRA projector works with DLP technology and a 0.39" DMD display chip. Its native resolution is 3840×2160px with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The high resolution delivers detailed rendering of every scene, from the centre right to the very edges. The system supports Dolby Vision, HDR 10+, and HLG for optimal high dynamic range processing.
Luminance, contrast, colour gamut and screen size
The light output is 2000 ISO lm according to the manufacturer's measurement, and the contrast ratio is 20,000:1 with the DBLE ON function active. The XGIMI MIRA projector's high contrast ratio helps render deep dark shades even in less brightly lit rooms, so the image retains its clarity and depth. A colour accuracy of Delta E less than 1 contributes to precise colour reproduction according to the BT.2020 standard with 110% coverage. The screen size of the projected image ranges from 2030mm to 3050mm (an 80" to 120" screen size). The wide colour gamut creates natural and rich shades for a faithful reproduction of the image material. The viewer gets a true-to-life picture with rich detail.
Laser light source
The light source of the XGIMI MIRA projector is an RGB Triple Laser, which uses three separate laser diodes for red, green, and blue. This technology removes the need for a classic lamp and eliminates colour fringing. The laser light source offers a stable light flux throughout its entire operation. The optical system with high light transmission reduces brightness loss.
System noise and power consumption
The total power consumption of the device in full operation is 180W. The noise level of the cooling system does not exceed 28 dB(A) when measured at a distance of 1 metre in Low Noise Mode. The low fan noise does not disturb the viewer, even during quiet film scenes. The XGIMI MIRA projector is powered by a classic mains cable from a standard AC 100–240V, 50/60Hz electrical supply.
Ultra-short throw distance
The projection ratio is 0.175:1. The XGIMI MIRA projector is classified as an Ultra Short Throw model. The projection distance is 310mm to 470mm from the wall. The ultra-short throw distance lets you place the device in close proximity to the wall without the need for complex ceiling mounting.
ISA 5.0 automatic image adjustment
The ISA 5.0 system for UST technology includes a set of automatic image correction functions. The XGIMI MIRA projector offers autofocus and uninterrupted automatic keystone correction. The intelligent system automatically adjusts the geometry of the image according to the projection surface. This means you do not have to deal with tedious manual adjustments.
Installation options
The XGIMI MIRA projector is designed for freestanding placement on a table or cabinet in front of the projection wall. The Wall Flatness Adaptation function helps to even out wall imperfections by scanning a QR code. The Wall Colour Adaptation function adjusts colours according to the shade of the background. A special surface with nanotechnology repels water and protects against dirt. Integrated eye protection automatically dims the brightness if a person appears near the lens.
Harman Kardon sound system
The audio output of the XGIMI MIRA projector is handled by an integrated 36W system from Harman Kardon. The system consists of two 8W full-range speakers and one 20W subwoofer for bass frequencies. The sound system, with support for Dolby Audio and DTS-HD, provides balanced sound tuned according to the Harman Target Curve. The system is optimised for natural human sound perception and dialogue clarity.
Smart projector with Google TV
The Google TV operating system provides direct access to a wide range of multimedia content. Pre-installed global apps include YouTube, Netflix, HBO Max, Disney+ and Spotify. The smart interface offers seamless switching between streaming services without needing to connect external players. Screen mirroring on the XGIMI MIRA projector is possible via Google Cast or Magicast.
Game mode and 3D support
For gamers, there's a game mode with a low input latency of 1ms at 1080p resolution and a 240Hz frequency. The device supports VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) for smooth, tear-free gaming. Gamers will appreciate the system's fast response time during fast-paced action scenes. There's also full support for Full 3D display in Frame Packing and Side by Side formats.
Connectivity options
The connectivity options include three HDMI ports, one of which supports eARC for the audio return channel. There are also two USB ports, one LAN network connector, an optical output, and a classic audio jack output. Wireless connection for the XGIMI MIRA projector is provided by dual-band WiFi 6 with 2.4GHz and 5GHz protocols, along with Bluetooth 5.2. The system also supports content sharing via the DLNA standard.
