There is a strong mode with suppression up to -40 dB and a light mode up to -15 dB, so you can better adjust the sound level to suit the situation. In addition, control is possible directly via a button on the transmitter or receiver.
High-quality sound for content creation
BOYA mini 2 supports 48 kHz / 24-bit recording and offers a signal-to-noise ratio of 80 dB and a maximum sound pressure of 120 dB. A wide frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz helps capture voice naturally and with good detail clarity, while a low-cut filter reduces unwanted low-frequency noise.
Limiter and safety track against overload
An automatic limiter is included to monitor signal levels in real time and help prevent distortion during sudden loud peaks. A practical addition is the safety track, which creates a backup track with a reduced level of -12 dB, so you have more confidence when shooting in more challenging conditions.
Mono, stereo and safety track
The microphone supports three output modes - Mono, Stereo and Safety Track. This allows you to choose the recording method according to the type of shooting and post-production and better tailor the workflow to the specific project.
Control via the BOYA Central app
With the BOYA Central app, you can conveniently adjust 6 gain levels, select EQ presets and perform firmware updates directly from your phone. This makes it easy to set up the microphone and gives you more control over the sound without complicated settings directly on the device.
