The EMOS CB500 coaxial cable comes in a 100m pack and is designed for cable television (CATV) distribution systems. The cable has an impedance of 75Ω. It features a pure copper inner conductor, complemented by triple shielding. A PVC outer jacket protects the inner structure, and the entire assembly meets Eca fire reaction class requirements.

Cable construction and shielding
The core of the cable consists of a 0.75mm diameter copper conductor. To protect the signal from interference, the cable features triple shielding, which consists of a layer of aluminium foil (Al/PES), tinned copper braiding and a second layer of aluminium foil. The braiding itself consists of 48 wires with a 0.12mm diameter and covers 47% of the surface. A PVC outer jacket protects the inner part, giving the cable an overall diameter of 5mm.
