Cooling and connectivity
Cooling is handled by the EVGA iCX3 Cooling system, which efficiently dissipates heat from the card's critical components. The design includes a metal backplate for mechanical protection and better heat dissipation. The card features an adjustable ARGB LED logo, which you can customise to your preference. The output connectors include DisplayPort 1.4a and HDMI 2.1, with HDMI 2.1 supporting 8K resolution at 60Hz with HDR and variable refresh rate. The maximum supported resolution is 7680 × 4320 pixels. The card is HDCP 2.3 compliant and ready for virtual reality.
Design
For proper operation, a power supply of at least 650W and two available 8-pin PCIe power connectors are required. The card supports NVIDIA G-SYNC to eliminate screen tearing, Microsoft DirectX 12 Ultimate, Vulkan RT API and OpenGL 4.6. Advanced settings and monitoring are provided by the EVGA Precision X1 software, which offers a clear interface for controlling frequencies, voltages and fans.
