The QNAP TS-864eU-8G network storage, in a shallow-depth 2U design, is used for storing, sharing and backing up company data in a rack cabinet. The device is powered by a quad-core Intel Celeron N5095 processor with a frequency of up to 2.9GHz, which is complemented by 8GB of DDR4 RAM. The short chassis design simplifies installation in smaller cabinets with cabling. This NAS offers eight bays for SATA hard drives or SSDs. The system supports migration to the advanced QuTS hero operating system, based on the ZFS file system, which protects data from corruption. The motherboard includes one PCIe Gen 3 ×2 slot for installing add-on cards. Users can fit this slot with, for example, a faster 10GbE network card or USB adaptors. Powerful Intel Celeron processor
The hardware is based on a quad-core Intel Celeron N5095 processor with integrated Intel UHD Graphics.
