Acer PD1500
The Acer PD1500 projector uses DLP imaging technology and projects in a native resolution of 1920×1080 Full HD, while supporting an input signal of up to 1920×1200 pixels. This DLP projector uses an OSRAM LED RGB light source, which provides a brightness of 1500 ANSI lumens in standard mode. The 5000:1 contrast ratio contributes to better resolution of light and dark parts of the image. In the power-saving ECO mode, the brightness drops to 1200 ANSI lumens. The projector operates with a native 16:9 aspect ratio and also supports the 4:3 format. The screen size size of the image can be adjusted in the range of 139.7cm (55") to 762cm (300"). A throw ratio of 1.5 to 1.65 allows you to create a 100" image from a distance of 3.3 metres. The projector enables precise image adjustment with 1.1× optical zoom and automatic and manual vertical keystone correction in the range of ±25°. Manual focus is used for final fine-tuning of sharpness.

Operating features and connectivity
The OSRAM LED RGB light source consumes 121W in standard mode and 83W in power-saving ECO mode. In standby mode, consumption drops to 0.5W. The projector supports various projection methods including front, rear, front ceiling and rear ceiling projection, and can be mounted on the ceiling. The 360° control function expands the placement options for the device. An HDMI 1.4a port with HDCP 1.4 content protection support is used to connect an image source. The projector allows you to send the audio signal externally via a 3.5mm mini jack or through the S/PDIF interface. The connector equipment also includes a USB Type-A with a DC output of 5V / 2A.

Native resolution vs. maximum resolution
Native resolution determines the actual number of physical pixels on the projector's imaging chip and defines the real sharpness of the image, while maximum resolution only indicates the highest signal that the projector can receive and convert (downscale) to its native resolution.
