The Acer S1386WH Short Throw is a DLP projector designed for flexible use in both educational institutions and corporate environments. With a native resolution of 1280 × 800 WXGA in a 16:10 aspect ratio and a high brightness of 4000 ANSI lumens, it provides a clear and legible image even in rooms with normal daylight. This WXGA projector can be used without needing to completely darken the room. Its main advantage is its short-throw lens, which allows for installation very close to the projection surface. Clear image and projection
With a brightness of 4000 ANSI lumens and a high contrast ratio of 25000:1, the projection remains legible and full of detail even without completely darkening the room. A key feature is the short-throw lens. The 0.52 throw ratio creates a large image from up close, for example, an 87" screen size from a distance of just one metre. The size of the projected image can be set from 36" (91.4cm) up to 300" (762cm).
Light source and connectivity options
The projector uses a 220W OSRAM lamp. Its lifespan in standard mode is 4000 hours. During standard operation, the device's total power consumption reaches 270W. The integrated 16W speaker provides basic audio accompaniment. The range of connectors covers all common usage scenarios. The projector offers a digital HDMI input with MHL support, an analogue VGA input, and also a VGA output for connecting another monitor. It also includes a composite video input (RCA) and an S/PDIF interface. For external audio devices, the projector offers a 3.5mm audio input and a 3.5mm audio output.
