Patti Smith is back with her most intimate book yet. A Book of Days is released to coincide with the fiftieth anniversary of the legendary album Horses. In it, the popular singer, writer, and photographer tells readers about her adolescence, her early fascination with art, and her first loves. She also reveals the darker corners of her past and comes to terms with the period when she had to rebuild her life after heavy losses. However, her beacon has always been and remains writing, which can transform pain into hope and which still accompanies her on her travels around the world.
