The Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC are robust wireless gaming headphones with a closed-back design, 8th-generation 90mm planar magnetic drivers and adaptive hybrid active noise cancellation. The drivers use advanced Fluxor, Fazor, SLAM, and Uniforce technologies and achieve a harmonic distortion of less than 0.1% at 100dB. For an enhanced spatial experience, there's also a Head Tracking feature with automatic calibration. The headphones connect wirelessly via a low-latency USB-C dongle and Bluetooth 5.3 with the LE Audio standard. Effective voice communication is ensured by a detachable hypercardioid boom microphone with FILTER AI technology for ambient noise suppression.
The Audeze Maxwell 2 gaming headset is compatible with PlayStation, PC, Mac, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android.
The Maxwell 2 ANC uses 8th-generation 90mm planar magnetic drivers with Fluxor and Fazor technologies. SLAM technology works with the acoustic pressure inside the earcup and is focused on accurate and controlled bass reproduction. Uniforce diaphragms support a precise response in both details and bass. The headphone's frequency range is 10Hz to 50kHz, and the harmonic distortion is less than 0.1% at 100dB. The closed-back design also provides passive isolation from the surrounding environment.
The Audeze Maxwell 2 headphones use adaptive hybrid active noise cancellation, designed specifically for gamers. You won't miss the quiet footsteps of enemies or faint background sounds. There is also a Transparency mode, which allows you to stay in touch with your surroundings even with the headphones on. The stated noise cancellation value is 35dB. The Head Tracking feature with automatic calibration tracks your head movement and works with the orientation of sound in space. For PC games, there is also the Embody Immerse Gaming Hive with personalised spatial audio. The features are rounded off with Dolby Atmos Renderer and a Sidetone function for monitoring your own voice.
The detachable hypercardioid boom microphone uses FILTER AI technology to isolate your voice from background noise and operates with a 48kHz bandwidth. A low-latency USB-C dongle or Bluetooth 5.3 with support for LDAC, AAC, SBC, LC3, LC3plus and LE Audio provide the wireless connection. The Audeze Maxwell 2 headphones also support Auracast and wired connection via USB-C or a 3.5mm jack. It is also possible to listen to audio from a wired USB or AUX connection and a Bluetooth source simultaneously.
The 1800mAh Li-Pol battery provides up to 40 hours of wireless operation with ANC off and up to 35 hours with ANC on. Charging is done via USB-C with parameters up to 5V / 1.8A. The magnetically attached earcups allow for easy replacement and offer an enlarged internal space for your ears. EQ and other function settings are available through the Audeze app for desktop and mobile platforms. Also included in the package is a wider leather headband, which can replace the original narrower version.
