Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC - Xbox

The Audeze Maxwell 2 ANC are wireless gaming headphones with a closed-back design, 90mm 8th-generation planar magnetic drivers, and adaptive hybrid active noise cancellation. The drivers use Fluxor, Fazor, SLAM, and Uniforce technologies and achieve a total harmonic distortion of less than 0.1% at 100dB. For a spatial audio experience, Head Tracking with automatic calibration is also available. Wireless connectivity is provided by a low-latency USB-C dongle and Bluetooth 5.3 with LE Audio technology. Communication is handled by a detachable hypercardioid boom microphone with FILTER AI technology to suppress ambient noise. 

90mm Planar Magnetic Drivers

The Maxwell 2 ANC use 90mm 8th-generation planar magnetic drivers with Fluxor and Fazor technologies. SLAM technology works with the acoustic pressure inside the earcup and is focused on precise and controlled bass reproduction. The Uniforce diaphragms support a precise response in both details and bass. The headphones' frequency response is 10Hz to 50kHz, and total harmonic distortion is less than 0.1% at 100dB. The closed-back design also provides passive isolation from the surrounding environment.

Hybrid ANC and Spatial Audio

Adaptive hybrid ANC reduces ambient noise and is complemented by a Transparency mode for listening to your surroundings. The stated noise reduction value is 35dB. Head Tracking with automatic calibration tracks your head movement and adjusts the sound's orientation in space. For PC games, Embody Immerse Gaming Hive with personalised spatial audio is also available. The features are rounded out by the Dolby Atmos Renderer and the Sidetone function for monitoring your own voice.

FILTER AI Microphone and Wide Connectivity

The detachable hypercardioid boom microphone uses FILTER AI technology to isolate your voice from background noise and operates with a 48kHz bandwidth. A wireless connection is provided by a low-latency USB-C dongle or Bluetooth 5.3 with support for LDAC, AAC, SBC, LC3, LC3plus, and LE Audio. The headphones also support Auracast and wired connection via a USB-C or 3.5mm jack. You can also listen to audio from a wired USB or AUX connection and a Bluetooth source simultaneously. 

Battery Life and a Design for Long Listening Sessions

The 1,800mAh Li-Pol battery provides up to 40 hours of wireless use with ANC off and up to 35 hours with ANC on. Charging is done via USB-C with parameters up to 5V / 1.8A. The magnetically attached earpads allow for easy replacement and offer an enlarged internal space for your ears. EQ settings and other functions are available through the Audeze app for desktop and mobile platforms. The package also includes a wider leather headband, which can replace the original narrower version.
