Open design
The solid steel chassis is complemented by a tempered glass side panel, which provides a direct view of the installed components. Both the front and top panels feature full-surface mesh, which ensures an unrestricted supply of fresh air to the internal hardware. This design efficiently dissipates heat and keeps the system at optimal temperatures, even under heavy load.
Pre-installed Silent Wings 4 fans
The manufacturer has fitted the case with three Silent Wings 4 140mm PWM high-speed fans, which combine quiet operation with high static pressure. You can further expand the system with additional fans or water-cooling radiators. The integrated PWM and ARGB hub simplifies speed management and lighting synchronisation for up to eight fans.
Flexible interior for hardware
The spacious interior accommodates motherboards up to E-ATX format and graphics cards up to 415mm long. A special feature is the option to completely invert the motherboard tray, which allows the system to be installed in an inverted layout. Ample space for a CPU cooler up to 185mm high makes it easy to choose robust cooling towers.
Drive positions in the DARK BASE 701
Data storage is handled by five drive positions: three 3.5" HDD slots and two 2.5" SSD slots. Installing drives is a tool-free process that takes just a few steps, which speeds up the entire build assembly. The rear panel offers vertical PCI slots with the option of vertically mounting a graphics card using a separately purchased cable.
Front panel connectivity
The front panel provides quick access to modern interfaces, including one USB-C port and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectors. The audio inputs and outputs are complemented by a button for controlling the ARGB lighting modes that run along the front of the case. This makes it easy to connect peripherals or change the computer's visual style without needing to use software.
Clean design of the Be quiet! case
A well-thought-out cable management system and a power supply shroud at the bottom help keep the interior neat and free of airflow obstructions. The black finish with subtle lighting elements creates a modern impression and suits bright interiors.
