Burn the bridges
One body. An endless web of lies. The seventh case for Kay Hunter.
When a mummified body is discovered in a renovated building, Kay Hunter and her team are plunged into a complex investigation.
They gradually uncover corruption, lies and organised crime within a tangled web of local developers, construction firms and security companies. Kay is determined to see justice served and find out who took the young victim's life, but her investigation could destroy the reputations of people who will do anything to protect their business interests.
As Kay gets closer to unmasking the killer, a severe ordeal strikes in her personal life, and she suddenly finds herself re-evaluating everything she cares about.
Can she keep her private and professional lives in check while trying to get to the bottom of one of the strangest deaths she has ever had to face?
