But she started it
Annabel, Ester, Tanya and Chloe are best friends – or at least they were in secondary school.
Although they have drifted apart a decade later, their shared secrets bind them together, for better or for worse. One day, they are unexpectedly contacted by another former classmate, Poppy Greer, who invites them all to an extravagant hen party. She sends them first-class plane tickets with the promise of a few fabulous days on a private island in the Bahamas.
None of them have seen Poppy in years, but curiosity and the thought of a luxury holiday get the better of them, so they all accept the invitation. They remember all too well that Poppy was never part of their group, that she was the target of their mockery and malicious games, but that's all long forgiven, surely!
The five women are isolated from the outside world on the island, and the four friends soon discover that they have underestimated not only Poppy, but also each other. Old grudges and new secrets begin to surface, and the tropical adventure turns into a nightmare…
