Conscience
The second case for Marek Tengler from the creator of the podcast phenomenon, Opravdové zločiny
Once a year, always in the same place. A group of former classmates meet at a guest house in the middle of the Vysočina region to reminisce about the old days. But this year, there will be nothing to celebrate – one of them will not be returning home. Police officer Marek Tengler once again launches an investigation that leads deep into the past. Who had a reason to murder? And should the others be afraid? Lies, secrets, and old grievances begin to surface. Tengler knows that a lot is at stake... and soon, hints emerge that the killer's motive may be more complicated than it seems.
Lucie Bechynková
Lucie Bechynková is not only a presenter but also a great lover of crime. In its passive form, of course. To channel her passion, she decided to share these stories further and, with her friend Bára, founded the podcast Opravdové zločiny (True Crimes). Her next logical step was to write a book about crime of the same name. As she likes to say herself: "Stay free and stay alive!"
