Cruel Seduction

Passion, Betrayal, and Gods

He was my enemy. My lover. My husband. And I swore before all of Olympus that I would destroy him. Aphrodite has never been afraid to get her perfectly manicured hands dirty, and she certainly isn’t about to start now, even if it means marrying the archenemy of Olympus, the new Hephaestus. She has a cruel plan to unbalance her new husband – she will seduce the only person he seems to care about, the beautiful and kind Pandora.

But two can play at that game, and Hephaestus would be all too happy to take his wife down a peg. Her former lover, Adonis, looks like the perfect weapon. And it doesn't hurt that he possesses the breathtaking beauty of fallen angels. However, using seduction as a weapon has its pitfalls. The heart can get involved all too easily. Hephaestus and Aphrodite exchange venomous remarks, but it reminds them far too much of foreplay. The lines blur and emotions become entangled, but a broken heart might be the least of their worries. Unrest in Olympus is reaching new heights, and their bedroom games could have deadly consequences not only for them, but for all of Olympus and everyone they've learned to love.

A scorching modern retelling of the myth of Aphrodite and Hephaestus (and Pandora and Adonis).
