Detectives and a Christmas investigation

Mgr. Zuzana Pospíšilová

Zuzana Pospíšilová is a popular author who devotes herself almost exclusively to original works for children. Young readers have been able to enjoy her texts since 2004, when her first fairy tales were published in Sluníčko magazine. In 2005, she began publishing books and remains one of the most active authors writing for children today. With Grada publishing house alone, she has released almost 120 titles, the most successful of which are the Magic Classroom series and the DeTECTiVeS children's detective series. Some of her fairy tales have been adapted for radio, and her texts also appear in Czech language readers and textbooks. Zuzana Pospíšilová is the mother of two now-adult daughters and is a child psychologist by original profession. This is the source of her understanding of children's imagination and humour, which is reflected in her extensive work. Her work is dominated by fairy tales and stories, but she also writes poetry and educational texts. Since 2016, she has been a freelance writer.
