Fire Tide
Cataclysm off the Australian Coast
In an otherwise dead sea off the coast of Australia, an area teeming with life is discovered. The luminescent coral defies current scientific knowledge but also holds great promise for the future. However, the loss of a Chinese military submarine in the area triggers a brutal attack and sets in motion a geological catastrophe that destabilises the entire region. Massive earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, and deadly tsunamis herald the arrival of an even greater cataclysm. Poison spreads through the sea and the shores are in flames – can the secret organisation Sigma Force stop the danger, especially when an old adversary returns, pursuing them and thwarting their plans at every turn? If Commander Grayson Pierce is to have any hope of success, he must find a key hidden in the past, deep within the mythology of the Australian Aborigines. What Sigma uncovers, however, is even more terrifying – and could shake the very foundations of humanity.
The Starless Crown is the seventeenth Rollins novel in the Sigma Force book series, which critics have acclaimed as "top-notch popular reading".
