Go Through Fire

SOMEONE ALWAYS TRIES TO SKATE UPHILL…

The year is 2030 and Europe is collapsing under internal strife and pressure from a unified caliphate. However, the ongoing war is of no interest to a former government assassin with the codename Scarecrow, who, after years of wading through corpses, has taken early retirement and hidden himself in a cabin in the Krkonoše mountain forests.

But nothing lasts forever. All it takes is helping a girl in trouble, and his whole world goes up in flames. Scarecrow has stumbled upon something that not even years of killing could have prepared him for, and certain people start hunting him more relentlessly than cyborgs with an Austrian accent from old-timey films.

To survive, Scarecrow, who hasn't felt right in his own skin since his involuntary participation in a questionable magical ritual, will have to cash in every favour he has collected during his violent career. The weather forecast for the next few days is clear: Get your umbrellas ready, heads are going to roll.
