Turning it to the right adds attractive bass and sparkling highs for a more intense musical experience and Hi-Fi sound.
Listen from Near or Far
The second potentiometer on the MACKIE CR4.5BT speakers is used for volume control, and the switch between Desktop/Bookshelf modes on the back affects the internal optimisation for near or far listening. For times of quiet or when you don't wish to be disturbed by your surroundings, you can use the headphone output.
Wide Connectivity Options
MACKIE CR4.5BT speakers are always sold in pairs, with one of the monitors serving as the master, containing the controls and amplifier, and the other connected with the included speaker cable. The monitors have balanced TRS inputs, unbalanced RCA inputs, and a stereo input for quick connection to a phone or laptop. You also have the option to connect your device wirelessly via Bluetooth.
System Type
An active speaker is one that has a built-in amplifier in its body, and to listen, you just need to connect it to a sound source, either wired or wirelessly.Passive speakers are more often referred to as speaker systems. They are intended more for high-quality, loud, and dynamic listening in the comfort of your home and are not suitable for frequent transport. The main advantage of passive speakers is the ability to connect various sources through a separate amplifier.
Number of Channels
The number of channels in speaker systems and home cinemas indicates the number of independent audio signals (speakers) and subwoofers, most often in the X.Y format (e.g., 2.0, 5.1). It indicates how many audio tracks are reproduced simultaneously, which determines the spatial experience and bass depth of the system, from basic stereo sound (2.0) to surround sound (5.1 and more).Specifications
