Optical technology for long-distance transmission
This hybrid optical cable (AOC) uses OM3 optical fibres to transmit the signal. Unlike conventional copper cables, this technology guarantees stable and lossless transmission of high-speed data even over longer distances, such as seven metres. The signal is not susceptible to electromagnetic interference, which ensures clear picture and sound. Despite its advanced technology, the cable maintains a slim profile with a diameter of just 5mm, making it easy to install and route.
Advanced features for gaming and films
The cable fully supports the features of the HDMI 2.1 standard, which you'll appreciate when watching films and playing games. Support for VRR and ALLM is crucial for gamers – Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) synchronises the picture with the graphics card to prevent screen tearing, while Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) ensures an instant response. High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology delivers more vibrant colours and deeper contrast. Thanks to eARC support, you can also transmit advanced audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
Reliable connection and wide compatibility
For a stable connection, the HDMI Type-A connectors are gold-plated, which improves signal transfer and protects them from corrosion. The cable is backwards compatible with older devices that support HDMI 2.0 or 1.4 standards. HDCP 2.3 protocol support ensures seamless playback of protected high-definition content. The cable also includes an HDMI Ethernet Channel (HEC), which lets you share an internet connection between connected devices without needing an additional network cable.
