PSH Tangle Free is a professional revitalising and detangling conditioner for use after bathing. It helps to detangle matted areas, softens the coat and gives it volume, elasticity, smoothness and shine. The conditioning ingredients help to reduce friction between the hairs and make subsequent brushing easier. PSH Tangle Free is suitable for all coat types, especially long, medium-long, thick or easily tangled coats. This conditioner is approved for both dogs and cats.

How to use PSH Tangle Free correctly
For long or easily tangled coats, work in small sections from the tips to the roots when brushing. Hold the coat close to the skin so that the pulling action is not transferred directly to the skin when detangling. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
- Use after washing your dog or cat with a suitable shampoo and after rinsing the shampoo out thoroughly
- Apply the conditioner to the wet coat, mainly to the mid-lengths and ends, and spread it in the direction of hair growth
- The product can be used directly, or for the professional size, it can be diluted as needed with approximately 1 part conditioner to 2 parts water
- The current PSH PRO material does not require a leave-in time of several minutes—after an even application, the conditioner can be rinsed out thoroughly
- After rinsing, gently dry the coat and brush it with a suitable brush or comb
Key conditioning ingredients
- Behentrimonium Chloride - a cationic conditioning agent that binds to the hair's surface, helping to reduce friction and the force needed for brushing. A study published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science specifically examined Behentrimonium Chloride on human hair and found a significant reduction in the force required for wet combing. It also showed that the conditioner improves hair manageability but does not reverse its oxidative structural damage.
- Cetrimonium Chloride - another cationic conditioning agent used for improved coat manageability and detangling.
- Cetyl Alcohol - a fatty alcohol used as an emollient and structuring agent in conditioning preparations.
- Laureth-3 - an auxiliary cosmetic ingredient used in the conditioning formula.
