Richard's live toys

Richard Steinberg is an eccentric inventor adored by women. He oversees most of the city's technical progress, as well as the lives of those around him. One day, he rescues Michael Denatierra—a young, attractive stranger currently out of favour with moneylenders—from a burning house. The young man is captivated by Steinberg's maids and the inventor himself, and accepts a job offer in his renowned workshop. However, in his attempt to escape his pursuers and find the truth about his missing father, he becomes entangled in a dangerous game. A game where lascivious orgies, intrigue, and murder pervade everything, like opium in a glass of absinthe.
