The device also serves as a bridge to support WDS function, which allows at the same time to use the device as an access point and repeater used for signal amplification. With this feature you can create a large wireless network in larger areas such as schools or hotels. This skill is also well used to create networks between buildings where it is not possible to use a wired connection. The access point is also equipped with protection of transmitted data using 64/128 bit WEP encryption, complemented with advanced features such as access control or MAC addresses to hide ESSID. The device is equipped with a connector to connect an external antenna and the entire administration section is controlled via a Web interface. Firmware can be upgraded simply by using the Internet.
