The APC Smart-UPS SRT Li-Ion 1000 VA RM 230V rack-mount backup power supply is a unit with on-line double-conversion topology, delivering a true power output of 900W with an apparent power of 1000VA. This APC 1000VA rack UPS protects critical server and network components. At full load, it powers connected devices for 29 minutes and 45 seconds, and at half load, for 56 minutes. The lithium-ion battery power source provides a pure sine wave output with low distortion and zero transfer time to battery. Its compact rack-mountable design saves valuable space in the data centre.

Topology and performance
The power supply uses an on-line double-conversion topology, which continuously regenerates the voltage to protect against all types of network interference. The output is always a pure sine wave voltage with no interruption when switching to battery. The true power of 900W and apparent power of 1000VA are sufficient for powering smaller servers and network components. High efficiency reduces operating costs and waste heat generation.
Battery and protection
Inside is an internal, user-replaceable lithium-ion battery with a long service life, which fully charges in 6 hours. This technology offers longer runtime and faster recharging compared to traditional lead-acid batteries. The cold start function starts the UPS even without input power. Integrated deep-discharge protection helps to extend the battery's service life.
Management and remote monitoring
USB and Ethernet ports are available for management and monitoring, complemented by a SmartSlot for installing optional network cards. PowerChute Network Shutdown software manages the safe shutdown of connected servers and virtual systems in the event of a prolonged power outage. The clear LCD panel on the front of the unit displays the current status, load, and remaining runtime.
Connectivity options
Connect to the mains using a standard IEC C14 connector. To power protected servers and other devices, it offers eight IEC C13 output sockets, all of which are fully backed up.
