High performance with an Intel Atom processor
At the heart of the device is a quad-core Intel Atom C3538 processor with a frequency of 2.1GHz which, combined with 8GB of DDR4 RAM, ensures the smooth running of all company applications. The system memory can be expanded up to 128GB using the four free slots if needed. This enterprise-grade hardware handles demanding network operations, fast sharing of large files in the office, and maintains stable system performance even under heavy load.
Network connection
The rear panel includes two standard gigabit ports and two 2.5Gb/s ports. The link aggregation feature increases the total transfer speed to up to 5Gb/s, which prevents bottlenecks when multiple users access the device at once. The four Ethernet ports also provide necessary redundancy in case of failure of one of the network cables or switch ports, thereby reducing unplanned downtime in the corporate network.
Virtualisation and Docker application support
The storage is fully compatible with VMware, Citrix, and Hyper-V virtualisation platforms. The system architecture supports running virtual machines and containerised applications in a Docker environment. With full support for iSCSI, IP-SAN, and NFS protocols, the device integrates into existing IT infrastructures and serves as cost-effective shared storage for virtual servers.
Security
The ADM operating system provides integrated protection against ransomware using the Btrfs file system and the Snapshot Center tool. Users have access to hybrid encryption certified by the US NIST, which protects transmitted data from future security threats. The multi-layered protection includes the built-in ADM Defender firewall, ClamAV antivirus, two-step verification for user accounts, and the option to encrypt folders using the AES algorithm with a 256-bit key.
Easy location in the server room
When installed in rack cabinets, management is made easier by a dedicated button on the front panel that, when pressed, lights up an LED indicator on the rear. The AiMaster mobile app offers a feature to remotely activate the system LED and buzzer for quickly finding a specific chassis. These physical location lights save system administrators time during maintenance in densely populated server cabinets with many active servers.
